Which cloud provider is the best?
The range of cloud providers is still manageable at times, but new providers are constantly being added and even now the choice is not easy. With AWS, Microsoft Azure, the Google Cloud Platform and the Alibaba Cloud alone, there are four high-calibre providers available. It is therefore self-explanatory to ask which of these cloud providers is the best. There is no blanket answer to this question, because they all have their advantages and in the end it depends on the individual needs of the company. AWS is the market leader and convinces above all with its variety of services. Microsoft Azure is particularly attractive because of its compatibility with other Microsoft services. When it comes to speed, the Google Cloud platform is unbeatable. On the other hand, companies with a focus on China should rather use the Alibaba Cloud, as it allows hosting within China and offers a lot of leeway due to its numerous partnerships.
Cloud technology is one of the greatest innovations of our time. Various IT services and infrastructures can be easily booked through an external provider. This brings a multitude of advantages for companies. Although there are also aspects that speak against using cloud providers in principle, these are hardly significant in view of the advantages. Which cloud platform is ultimately used should depend on the requirements and goals of the company. There is no such thing as the best provider per se. In any case, the technology will continue to evolve over the next few years. This could, among other things, help to make currently complicated services more user-friendly and replace AWS as market leader. After all, the subsidiaries of Alibaba, Azure and Microsoft are all striving for dominance. Not to mention all the providers that will establish themselves or be added in a few years
